Despite those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul instead criticized ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.

Commercial Success

However, the novice continues to be one of boxing's largest financial successes, regularly earning massive paydays.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for 2026.

"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
