The First Xbox Game Pass Titles of 2026 Reveal Xbox Remains Committed.

Across the gaming landscape, fans keep sounding the knell for the green team. Microsoft's console just got outsold by a lesser-known competitor. Platform-specific outlets began covering about PlayStation for the first time. Last year proved to be complete chaos for the Xbox ecosystem. However, judging purely by what's coming to Game Pass in 2026, it is apparent that Xbox remains determined to draw people in with quality releases on its premier subscription.

The Available Now Titles

The two games you can play right now at this moment, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, don't represent the biggest draws. Instead, the excitement lies in what's arriving to Game Pass over the next few weeks that's worth getting excited about.

Major Titles on the Horizon

On Jan. 13, Game Pass will add the underappreciated Star Wars Outlaws, a sprawling adventure that refreshes typical Ubisoft design with a cosmic robbery tale. A further major acquisition is Resident Evil Village featuring the towering Lady Dimitrescu, which our 2021 review called "a superb mixture of terror and combat."

Compelling Indie Titles

Yet, the less-hyped additions arriving shortly on the service are noteworthy here. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, a fantastic but under-the-radar dungeon crawler that is incredibly fun, arrives January 7th — and it merits a playthrough even if you missed out on the first Lost in Random game.

The game set in a ruined Britain from last year may draw you in remarkably quickly.

Atomfall, a game blending infiltration and resource management by Rebellion Developments, is also a game to check out. Game Pass Ultimate subscribers also have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition to get excited about.

A Well-Rounded Collection

All in all, these aren't the most groundbreaking additions to Game Pass, and they are also not massive exclusive blockbusters that justify the service in the first place. However, this batch of games are rock solid. There's a good mixture of older titles you may have skipped and relatively recent releases that failed to receive the spotlight they were due initially — which makes them ideal prospects to find a new audience on Game Pass.

Be prepared to part ways with The Grinch Christmas Adventures, however.
