Two Individuals Accused Over Heathrow Alleged Pepper Spray Attack

Two men have been charged following a luggage theft where a believed to be pepper spray resulted in harm at the major London air hub.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, now face two robbery charges and charges for deploying a toxic agent, authorities have stated.

The charges follow an probe of an assault at the parking structure at Heathrow's Terminal Three on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women were robbed of their luggage stolen after getting out of a car park lift, police said.

A three-year-old girl was caught up in the incident in the event. A total of five individuals required hospital care and were eventually allowed to go home.

The incident – which authorities stated was not part of a series and not considered a terror-related act – caused train delays and the partial closure of the main airport road tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a brief period.
